This is an actual obituary, the funny part is that it says that he died because of the "stolen election" and the right wingers caused him to have so many heart attacks, he was rendered disabled. It is amazing to me that this was an actual obituary!
Corwyn (Cory) William Zimbleman
Tucson, AZ (formerly of Champaign, IL)
Age 53. Born April 18, 1952 to the late Willard and Gilda (Ebert) Zimbleman, died June 10, 2005.
An avid atheist, he studied the bible and religion with more fervor than most Christians. He had strong political opinions and followed Amy Goodman's radio broadcast "Democracy Now." Alas the stolen election of 2000 and living with right-winged Americans finally brought him to his early demise. Stress from living in this unjust country brought about several heart attacks rendering him disabled.
Cory, a great man, so very talented, compassionate and intelligent, dedicated to the arts and humanities and the environment, will be greatly missed by his wife, family, and friends. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Montiel; his step-daughter, Esperanza Hernandez both of Tucson; his brother, Mike (Dana) of St. Louis, MO; his sisters, Susan St. Claire of San Jose, CA and Laura Zimbleman of Ypsilanti, MI, and his turtles Heidie, Skinhead and Studley and many other pets.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2005 from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.

He probably died of salmonella from the turtles. You have to wash your hands well after handleing them As pets they make many children ill and now it looks as if they are poisen for sore loosers too. I wonder if he ever did a honest days work in his life. From a few things in the obit it looks as if he never let a fact stand in the way of his beliefs.

If things were so bad here why didn't he leave and go to another country where things are better.
It's really sad that someone can spend 53 years on this earth and a radio talk show, political opinions and turtles are all they ever do with their life.
Maybe he didn't study the Bible as much as whoever wrote the obituary thought he did??

I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Rule 1 - Don't sweat the small stuff.
Rule 2 - It's all small stuff. Especially politics.
Being a strong Christian I may look at things differently, but I think that if I had no faith I would probably have heart attacks too thinkign that man was the best there is.

Well:
Some of the opinions expressed so far fall right into where I like to be:
An avid atheist, he studied the bible and religion with more fervor than most Christians.
Too bad he didn't learn any thing
He had strong political opinions and followed Amy Goodman's radio broadcast "Democracy Now." Alas the stolen election of 2000 and living with right-winged Americans finally brought him to his early demise. Stress from living in this unjust country brought about several heart attacks rendering him disabled
As a Vet, ifn ya don't like it, leave it. Vets served so that you would have freedom and a choice. If a Godless, Totalitarian regime is more to your aethisitic views, move to Russia.... if ya think the election was rigged , move to Russia - I guarantee every election since the Revolution WAS rigged. If the election was stolen in 2000, explain 2004.... Course, this is what democracy is all about. Even idiots can express and opinion and have a right to that opinion however imbicilic it may be. See sig line in any of my emails....
Cory, a great man, so very talented, compassionate and intelligent, dedicated to the arts and humanities and the environment,
Talent - ??? Compassion ??? Not too sure, didn't know him. However Intelligent Not judging by the above... sounds more like an ostrich to me...

It is my faith that brought me through most of my medical problems, especially those of late. What would scare me ifn I was an aethiest would be standing in front of the Lord on Judgement Day and be judged by God himself, and answering for my lack of faith in Him...
