I always liked the Montag Blue Horse brand. But they are no longer available.

Dan, if you're speaking of tablet computers, I'd go with the Apple iPad. All the others are just wannabe's. The only down side is that Apple does not support Adobe Flash Player. Therefore, you can't use the chat function of this board or any other application that requires Flash Player. Someday that may change.

what are you looking to do, surf the web, read e-books, play "games", watch movies/TV....???? 90% of people will say the ipad, but it's sorda $$$$ The amazon kindle fire just came out for about $200, it has a ton of features but a smaller screen than the ipad. I use an ipad at work to administrator virtual servers and such, it's about the industry standard.

CNET has some pretty good reviews and keep up with the latest offerings.... http://reviews.cnet.com/tablets/

If you're talking about denture tablets, I've heard efferdent is pretty good. Other than that, I'm clueless.

I stay pretty active during the day so when I call it a night I am usually feeling a bit of muscle pain. I found Aleve tablets to be my choice. :D
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

We are a lot of elp aren't we. I was thinking of Big Chief, which was my favorite when I was in school back in the 50s.

That was poorly worded. I should have said tablet computer. Internet yes, games no, pictures yes, books yes. Hope that helps clarify.

Dan, I have an IPad2 as well and really like it. All my posts and surfing here are done with it. I also have a Bluetooth keyboard to do any "serious" typing as the touchscreen takes a bit to get used to and is slower, but I imagine all are on the same page concerning that aspect. Surfing, pictures and books with it are great. Not having Flash is a minus, but from what I'm hearing, Adobe is no longer going to support Flash for mobile devices anyway, so here soon it may be a mute point. I know the IPad's are more expensive, but the accessories and support are unmatched in my opinion.
Next purchase will be an add on that will turn it into my universal remote!! :D

my only gripe on the original ipad was that it didn't have an SD card slot so that I could directly import pictures.... I don't think that the ipad 2 has one either, but I haven't got to "play" with one of them.

The ipad can read all types of e-book as far I as I know... like I said, it's pretty much the industry standard and king of the hill that everyone has been trying to dethrone for a while, but somehow or another everyone keeps coming up short.

You are right, the IPad2 doesn't ether, but Apple does have a camera connection kit that allows a SD card or USB direct connection to your camera for $30. I bought it and it works great. You can pick and choose which photos/movies to import, or just move them all over and empty the card/camera. You can also keep an extra card on hand to keep movies on so that it doesn't fill up the internal memory of the tablet, for those long rides with a 10 yr old in the back seat!!
