154 input shaft
Trying to find the diameter of the trans input shaft, the part that holds the driven disc. I want to build mine back to the correct diameter. Anyone have an unmolested input shaft they can check?

Re: 154 input shaft
Hi,
I believe our new input shafts are .865 and the rear flywheel is .875, but a word of caution. Check to be sure your flywheel is correct. Normally the flywheel wears before the shaft. Suggest you drill out the flywheel so it is perfect (if it needs it) and then build up your input shaft to match. They need to be very snug.
Good Luck

Re: 154 input shaft
THanks, the driven disc was worn and the ear actually cracked while tightened. There was a bubble inside, casting defect, but that was the end of the disc.
Ordered yesterday, used input shaft and driven disc. I did not realize that if we are not happy with the parts the return shipping is paid by you. Wow, can't get better service than that!
