After the snow season ends, I'll start disassembly on my 154 for a restoration. I've read lots of older posts about color, like Federal Yellow, but what about the off White? Do most of you get your paint from a CIH/CNH dealer? I really couldnt find the number for the off white. I like to have all the stuff I need before I start a restoration.
Thanks, Tom

Re: Paint Question
I really like to use the CNH paint. Their Iron Guard paint is expensive, but it is really hard to beat and really lasts. The color is IH white, or 935 White. It's a little creamy, or off white. Depending on the year of your 154 (1969, 1970), the white could have actually been another white that IH used, which had a lighter tint to it, but most folks just go with 935 white. The lighter shade is 902 IH white, and can be hard to find. You typically have to go to NAPA or a paint store and have it mixed. There are cross reference charts if you look in the manuals section.
Good luck,
Bill

Re: Paint Question
Thanks Bill. I'll probably just go to CNH to get the paint. Paint isn't cheap anywhere so I might as well go to the source.
