Other Projects

Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

Other Projects

Here are some of my other projects.....
http://kodiakspictures.shutterfly.com/pictures/10
Model HO train and Wooden Chest. Supposed to be a ammo box but I got a little carried away  anyway it does have all my ammo in it now as well as other stuff. My trains are a on-going project, just finally getting some it assembled and on a layout. Grandkids love it :D As far as my Grandsons photo with the shotgun....well I have been looking for that gun for years. A cousin had it and let me borrow it to take some pictures. It is a 12 GA external hammer double barrell. It belonged to my Great- Grandfather and my Grandfather ( I have old photos of both of them with it) now you know why I wanted to get pictures of Daniel with it :D

I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Excellent pictures, Ron. Love the trains.

But my special interest was the gun. I own one just like that. It belonged to my granddad. Sure glad I ended up with it.

Nice workmanship on the chest. I like the joinery. Good job.

Ron:

Nice chest, nice box joints :D Finished up nice too :!:

I like trains too, mostly HO scale. I have some rolling stock and a limited amount of track. Hopefully one day I will have my basement finished to display our collections and have the train set running around the basement on an elevated track. Maybe even plexi in places.. be kinda cool.

Keep posting pics of your progress with the trains. Might give other closet train enthusiasts ideas :D One question, what scale Farmalls are those? 1/64th or 1/32nd?

Rudi,
I don't remember the details but there was an article in one of the model train magazines that I used to get all the parts to do the flat car with. I'll look and see where I put it and publish the info so anyone can look it up if they like.
