Re: Prayers Would Be Greatly Appreciated - Update -Rudi, Hoping for the best for Samatha, you and your wife. I was not aware of this until it came up in my unread today. All this and yet you found time to help me with computer questions. Keep up with the updates, those of us out here need to know. I am not a religious person but have made a prayer for her and you. A hug for everyone - including you.
Re: Prayers Would Be Greatly Appreciated - Update -Rudi, more prayers going for Samantha, your family, and the hospital staff.

Re: Prayers Would Be Greatly Appreciated - Update - #2Sam is now back on the 4600 ward after a couple days in CCICU. She tossed a few more clots and had a couple of events while in CCICU which was a good thing I guess as it allowed the cardiologist and hematologist to figure out what was going on. Yesterday morning Em and I got called to the hospital early - Sam was being prepped for a procedure. We got there in about a half hour or so, and very shortly they started moving her to the Angio labs. She underwent angioplasty and had an IVC Filter installed in her pulmonary aorta. She is resting comfortably and we are hoping that this combined with the increased doses of thinners -- warfarin is one, will resolve some of the issues and then the pain reduction program can be re-introduced.
Thanks for all the prayers and support. Sam says that it really does help as she feels it. (+) Confusion breeds Discussion which breeds Knowledge which breeds Confidence which breeds Friendship
