Re: Day off projectI have been wondering what kind of sad story I could make up to get him to make me one.

Re: Day off projectJohn if u can talk him into making one for ya im sure we can cub express it down to ya........i thought that part stickin out was just an arm rest for a fat girl
Re: Day off project
We'll use it for aligning rifle scopes and plinking with our 22's and such at different ranges. I already have padded rests but I'll have a few small sandbags too. I'll post some videos once it all comes together Rudi. I've been a collector of guns and ammo for around 40 years, most of them have never been shot, I've always depended on my Bows. I also picked up a nice skeet thrower and 4 cases of clay discs about 10 years ago, never opened the box yet. Never dreamed of ever having a son to hand them down to so Gray Cub and older half brother can brake them in now.
John, Grayson might take a late model white Ford pickup in on trade. ![]() Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Ben Franklin
Re: Day off projectThanks Yogie.... will be lookin forward to the video. I am hoping to find a real nice FN-C1A1 to go hunting with. I like the 7.62 and the weight/balance of the C1

Re: Day off projectThat's awesome! A nice design!
Re: Day off projectThanks everyone !
After looking things over a little closer I added a removable booster seat for some of the beginners that come by. Scrivt and I were talking a little about how pests like to build during the summer months so I picked up a couple cans of spay to keep close by. ![]() ![]() ![]() Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Re: Day off projectyogie, i can relate, there was a rifle i had for about 15 years that got 3 rounds through it , which i ended up selling, and bought the same rifle in stainless a few years later (was too good a deal to pass up) . coppersmythe..............................
Re: Day off projectGreat job Yogie! Gray cub will be shooting bull eye's!
Re: Day off projectGood looking bench there Yogie. Being a lefty myself, it's nice to see the set-up both ways.
If you have already tested it, ignore my comments, but it appears that the seat is cantilevered out over the support legs and I'm wondering how much weight it will hold without tipping?
Re: Day off project
Sharp eye there Poppy, after building the booster seat I had Grayson test it out with one of his rifles and found him to be a bit back from the table. I changed things a little and moved the seat in about 3 more inches. It's so heavy i think it could hold several people shooting at the same time with no problem. ![]() Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
