1pt fash hitch 3pt conversion
I when with a friend to pickup some 3pt implements. While at the farm I spotted a 1pt fast hitch 3pt conversion. I ask the farmer about it and he said he had it on his 140 fast hitch, along with a plow that was there. I said I wasn't sure it would fit my cub. He said if it don't fit bring it back. So I made him an offer and took it home and it fit no problem. My question is are these aftermarket or did IH produce any? I can't post any photos because my wife has the camera and won't be back for a couple of days. Will post some photos than.

Have seen them, Cub could not pick up much without remote cylinder or some such.

I'll have the photos tomorrow. I have looked at some of the photos on this site and haven't seen anything like it. It lifted my york rake ok but barely got my 6' box blade off the ground. I also had the belly mower deck on which I'm sure didn't help. I'll take the mower off and check the fluid which might be a little low.

Here are some photos of the 1pt fast hitch 3pt conversion. I could not find any tags or markings on it.

Looks like an IH 2-point to 3-point adapter that somebody modified.

I thought that the 2 pt hitch point was a differnet size than the smaller one used on a cub. Am I wrong on this?

Re: 1pt fash hitch 3pt conversion
I like how the top link/pin setup has the ability to rotate for pin alignment. The only issue I can see right off the bat is the standard width of the bottom mounts. When I made mine, I noticed several different widths that varied with each brand of equipment. Some pins were facing in, some facing out, etc. That may give you fits till you get all your 3point stuff set up the same. Definitely looks well made. Thanks for the pics.

Re: 1pt fash hitch 3pt conversion
Your fast hitch is not assembled correctly. The "knuckles" on each end of the pull bar support assembly are upside down. You can tell by the grease zerks pointing down instead of up. You will gain some additional lift height by changing that. I had one that way last year when I brought it home and it just didn't look right. After comparing it to another FH and the manual I finally figured it out. If a FH has ever been disassembled, it's an easy thing to get upside down.

Re: 1pt fash hitch 3pt conversion
Thanks for letting me know. I bought the tractor from original owner's daughter who said he had the hitch added later. He probably bought it use and was assembled wrong. I never noticed it until you pointed it out. It's red instead of yellow like the rest of the tractor.

I've seen the "knuckles" both ways...

So have I, but only one way is correct. Either will work, but the correct way is also structurally stronger when lifting to the FH capacity and it gives a slightly higher lift.

The SC and 200 etc had the small points the larger tracters had the same size point as a cub, I also agree with Jim
