Almost Ready

Postby twotone » Wed Mar 14, 2012 5:40 pm

I was ready for the big fire up after the rebuild. No Go. That starter barely had enough power to turn over a worn out motor, and now I throw some compression at it. I took it apart and I should have taken pictures of the starter so you all could see what I see. What a mess! It looks like Hamiltonbob will be getting a phone call.

Looking sharp! :D
When I took my starter apart, it was a mess inside as well. Already put new bearings and brushes in so I hope I'm good!
