I bought a Super A plow and had it installed right after we had any snow. All the parts were there to mount it in front, do I need anything special to mount it as a grader blade?
Thanks, Tom

Re: SUPER A PLOWThanks Rudi. I don't know how I missed that when I looked last night. I assume my subsitute drawbar is just my drawbar flipped around. seems there was a discussion on this not too long ago.

Re: SUPER A PLOW
The subsitute drawbar is a seperate part it is not the regular drawbar. I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

Re: SUPER A PLOWI started to fabricate a substitute drawbar for my SA, and then found one on Yesterday's classified through Googling substitute drawbar. Much easier! Guess the main thing I was NOT looking forward to was trying to countersink the holes for the tapered drawbar bolts! Good luck.

Re: SUPER A PLOWI know nothing about Super A's so I have to ask, is the Super A the same as a Cub in that the drawbar on the SA can be flipped to the front and serve instead of a substitute drawbar? If so, then Two Tone would not need to invest in a substitute bar.

Re: SUPER A PLOWI had thought that was the case, Barnyard, but when I had finished painting the scraper blade and went to mount it, I noticed the blade bolt holes didn't line up with the drawbar holes. The manual didn't go into much detail on just what the "Substitute Drawbar" looked like, but after a while I got it worked out. Guess the weight or pressure on the drawbar is just too much for using the regular drawbar backwards...don't know. But the correct one hangs straight down from the front two implement bolts, with no "arm" to cause torque problems.
