This tractor pops up alot. It can be found in "legendary Farmall tractors" by Lee Klancher and Randy Leffingwell. You can find it on pages 60 and 61. They show it being used spaying corn. There was a Ford 3000 for sale at a local nursery. Has hydraulics rigged for something front and back.

That is across the street from Scartner Farms near where I work> I've been driving by that tractor for years, still there!
