My wife Lauren and I finally moved back into our home. We were on vacation last September when a second floor bathroom water line broke and ran for 5 days before my neighbor noticed water running out the front door. The entire interoir of our home was destroyed. Thank God we have good homeowners insurance.
It was a lot of work and we basically have a new home, but I would not want to go through the same ordeal again!! Word to the wise...turn off your water when you leave home for an extended period of time.

Paul, I'm glad you finally returned home. I'd hate to think of that happening to anyone. Water damage seems to be worse that almost anything else. Did you rebuild the inside or was the whole house replaced?
