I spoke with his dad while getting a 'secret family recipe' root beer float. Dad is a great guy and he is very impressed with his son's positive attitude. It makes a huge difference. If you spend your energy feeling sorry for yourself or being negative... your recovery will be impaired. Great to hear the kid is doing well in dealing with a tragedy like that. He is a very lucky to be able to count his blessings and very wise to move on and get well.
