A couple weeks ago Dale F dropped off this disk for me at about 11:30 at night.... It came from ALFarmall Boy's. It's an IH #120. I had been looking for a nice fast hitch disk for my Super A. They're out there, but mostly non-IH, especially the ones made by King Plow Co. Very popular in its day around here, but the IH disk IMO is better. Especially cool is the fact we have bigger #120 that my dad bought new with his 424 in 1967. His disk has the old cast iron "boxings" for the disk gangs but this one has actual sealed ball bearings. Am looking forward to finishing up getting my fast hitch ready and trying the Super A out on this. Do you think it will lift it without the helper spring??? Al

Howdy Boss, I am planning on adding a helper spring at some point anyway. Do you have the inside touch control arm where the spring fastens to? Al

Sounds like a 122. They came after the 120 and had the angle iron frame. Al

Most people around here bought King disks for their 140's because they were a little cheaper than IH, so nine times out of ten that is the kind of disk you see for sale for these tractors. Their design was very similar to this disk though, but IMO the IH was a better cutting disk. According to the parts book, they actually made a hitch for this disk so you could use it with a Super A---140 with the standard hitch, not fast hitch. I hooked to it and tried it out day before yesterday. I think the Super A will handle it fine, bearings on one of the front gangs are a little stiff so I might replace them. Definately need to add the helper spring to the fast hitch though, had to rev the engine pretty high to lift it, especially when things got warmed up good. Al
