That's some fine looking soil you got there - and it will grow cubs? Gotta love it!
Thanks for the cool pictures.

The 154 is just sitting there for effect, it belongs in the dirt. As for the soil, I've had a garden there for 22+ years, and have never found a rock that bigger than a golf ball, and only a few of those.

Well, the drought finally ended with .8 of rain in a nice 15 hour soaker. we still need a lot more, but things are starting to grow again. You'll notice about 90% of my garden is pumpkins. All my neighbors have kids, grand kids and great grandkids, so I load up trailers and give them away to the neighbor kids. I think it's a good thing to do. Here's todays pics.

You guys are making me jealous. I'd show some fresh pics, but their not much different looking than the last ones. We haven't had any rain since I took those pics, and not much before that. The farmers are definately going to lose some this year. There is a chance of rain every day next week, so all I can do is hope and look at all your nice gardens. They look great by they way.

Finally got some much needed rain last night-1.2 inches. I cultivated the whole garden yesterday against the asvise of my farmer friends. They said I'd lose what little moisture I had left, but it looked like a dust bowl when I was working out there. I only went down 2 inches to kill the weeds and found zero moisture. From news reports rain looked promising for last night and for once they were right. Some more wouldn't hurt.

Well, It's time to show this weeks pics of my garden. Things are growing, but slow. Corn is tassled and ears are shooting fast. It's thundering as I write this, so I'm hoping for more rain, aren't we all?.

It's time for my weekly pics. The weather has been high 90's to 100+ this week but I did get .7 inches of rain. I'll take anything for rain right now. The garden seems to be doing real well though.
