What a job, I don't know how they did it in the old days with out the equipment we have now days, But it had to be a Hard job.
Because Jerry lea and I is tired and glad the job is done, and me and Jerry didn't get hurt.
Here is the Last one getting ready to go.




A little Dirt work to go.

It didn't turn out looking as good as I would of liked it to, But not to bad for my first try, and I think it will hold the dirt back.

Dang right it looks good, and certainly looks like it should hold. Beer well deserved.
When my dad worked on the railroad a little while, they used manpower not horse power.
Jerry looks like he is figuring out the security system. Beautiful dog.

Very nice job. It will definitely hold the dirt in place.

When I was in High School and had my own landscaping company, I built a retaining wall about the same size out of rr ties. I had an s-10 pickup at the time, and had to make about 5 trips to get all the ties there. Loaded, unloade, cut, stacked, placed all of them by myself. After that project, I SWORE I would never build anything out of RR ties again. What a PITA!!!! Wore out 2 chainsaw chains cutting them. Everything I owned was covered with kreosote for a week.

The new CUB house should be up and in place on the 26th, I ran 70 feet of the new electric wire yesterday, when the building is in place I'll run the rest of the 40 feet.
Not sure yet what i'm going to use to cover the ground with, I would like to use concret, but that would be another thousand bucks,
I'll put up more pictures when we get it in place.

I love those massey tractors, looks like a T035. I helped a guy restore one a few years back.
