Attended a local farm auction Saturday. Had numerous Farmall tractors (some John Deere too) and implements for sale. Yeah, it was hot, but took some precautions. Here's the summary:
A 2008 Red Power Round-Up, signed (by Ertl) edition of a pedal tractor, sold for $260:
A couple non-running parts tractors, a 706 and a 756, sold for $1000 and $1900 respectively:
A running 706 sold for $2500:
A 1971, International 3/4 ton, 4X4 pickup sold for $15,900 (completely restored and CHERRY!!):
A parade-ready 1954 Farmall Super MTA sold for $4600:
A couple running Farmall H's sold for $600 each:
A Farmall M sold for $750:
And a 1957 International 330 utility tractor sold for $2650:
Uh, me? I came home with 4 Lincoln lubriguns (3 Lincoln #1020 and 1 Lincoln #5956), the smallest of which will be repainted and put in the toolbox of my '48 Cub.
OH! Almost forgot! Under a shade tree sat several pieces of "farm yard art," one of which was the same item Mr. Jim Becker wrote of in the latest issue of Red Power Magazine: a Servis terracer (transmission shaft/auger spun freely):
Great auction! These and additional pics can be found here: http://s436.photobucket.com/albums/qq88 ... n/?start=0

Stanton...you've become the "grease gun guru".
You have enough to put one on every Cub.
You have enough to put one on every Cub.
