I just spent over an hour on the phone with Butch. Butch never posted much but many of you have met him at CubFests and know he is always a pleasure to chat with. Several members have ask me or Rosie at various events if we knew how Butch was doing. Well, today I called him and he told me he is doing well and is still enjoying life. He said he had gotten away from Cubs for a while and taking a new direction in life, but I think (hope) I have been able to redirect him back to the Cub fun. He said he does miss the fun times he had at all Cubfests he has attended and hopes his friends are doing well.
With that said, Butch told me he has had problems logging on to the forum and thought he had been dropped from the membership. I told him I would do what I could to get his login re-established so he can, again, join in on the fun.
I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me. Barnyard Bash CubFest May 31 - June 1, 2013 Click here for info.

Thanks, Bill. I really enjoyed Butch. He is a great guy.

Yes, we were. We hadn't seen him since the Bash of a couple of years ago and wondered how he was doing. Glad to hear he is OK and hope to see him soon.
