The knuckle (spindle) moves freely up and down inside the spindle tube about 1/8".
Is this normal?
Can it be tightened by adjusting the steering knuckle arm (Part #21) downward a little?

Re: Front Axle question. Why bother, once the weight of the tractor is on it, the shaft will not move up and down any.

Re: Front Axle question.EZ, you can do it how you want to, but it's all apart now and I'll bet it moves if you hit a bump.
