Sounds good to me! I really like the Michelins and the Firestones after looking at them, however I wish they were a LITTLE BIT more agressive. Not much, but a little more. Shopping for tires is like shopping for a car/truck. I feel like I'll never decide!

Just turn 80,000 miles on my Michelin LTX and should get at least 10,000 more. Not a fan of the Goodyear wranglers that came new with the truck. Cheaply made (in my opinion) with side wall problems. Happened on my suburban as well. Michelen are worth the extra $$.

I have not driven our 2 SUV's without a set of Michelin LTX's on them. I just put a NEW set on my 2002 Mercury Mountaineer (all wheel drive) at 135,000 miles. Carol Elizabeth has 82,000 miles on her original set of Michelin's and they're still going strong. You can buy good oats at a good price...OR, you can buy oats for less (that have already been run through the horse) BUY Michelin Tires and you'll buy them a LOT LESS OFTEN ...'Country'

I had one set of Coopers on a previous 4Runner. Never again. Difficult to keep balanced and wore out quickly.
