Just got my quote back from CaseIH for those pivot bushings.
$70Cdn, ea. 'Ouch'!
I will be looking around to see if I can cross them and get them cheaper.

Re: 130 Axle Pivot Bushings.Ouch it would be cheaper to get a piece of brass and have someone turn them out on a lathe!

Re: 130 Axle Pivot Bushings.Billy,
That's what I am thinking at this point. I saw the specs for those bushings on here the other day, but now I cannot find them. I'm gonna need the outside and inside size numbers for the 2 pivots, and the 4 knuckle bushings. Someone suggested using steel, but I'm thinking rust will not be friends with an axle pivot over time. Just Do It !
Re: 130 Axle Pivot Bushings. The knuckle bushings 356609R1 are available at Worthington AG (halfway between Flint and Grand Rapids.) for $11.81ea. which is not bad seeing CaseIH wants $35ea.
The pivot bushing 43455DR are not available there, or at I&T. the quest continues. Just Do It !
Re: 130 Axle Pivot Bushings.Wow...sometimes you win.
A buddy sent me an email yesterday asking me my mailing address. Sending me a new set of pivot bushings.........no charge! How awesome is that? Just Do It !
Re: 130 Axle Pivot Bushings. In the absence of other information, the pin may help develop the dimensions. Measuring the pin diameter will establish the nominal original diameter and subtracting a couple of thousandths will give the bushing bore. The pin will show the length of the bushings by the wear pattern on the pin.
Luck favors those who are prepared
Re: 130 Axle Pivot Bushings.Complimentary 43455DR Axle Pivot Bushings came in today.
They have a split in them. Does it matter where the split is oriented when it is installed? Just Do It !
