Just back from the "Great Oregon Steam Up" and thought I would offer to the commumnity a catalog listings IH belts, part numbers, and what equipment they fit.
After I bought it, I thought I had wasted my $5. "Who needs this?" I thought. Take the old one to the parts guy and say "get me one of these" or if the belt is gone, use a piece of string for the length and mic out the width. At least it is a little history. Oh well...
But maybe, just mabe, somebody out there has a IH piece of equipment, with no data tag, or an odd model, or is piecing together one from many junkers...When reading the "description" column, and "machine and model used on" it just might unlock the lost information you need to complete your task.
I had no idea IH made a molasses pump or used Continental engines on threshers and balers. Neat stuff.
Its about 30 pages long. I'll scan it and make a .pdf if I can figure out how. ( I need a teen to show me the computers hand crank ).
But before I do...Is this of use to anyone?
Part Number on back cover reads: PMC-1. 12-17-47--13B
Thanks.

Redcub, I think that would be a great addition to the Forum. A lot of members have odd pieces of IH equipment, and this would sure simplify getting the belt if it was gone.

I would love to have a copy. Will probably help with belts on my 52R combine.

All anitque paper is good to have. Sometimes you learn things about other stuff in reading them. Once its gone, we have it no more, and the history is lost. Whole lot better to have to much info , than have to search yrs for the last little bit of something. I dont collect IH stuff, but id be intersted in a copy of it, just to put back for some day.

It's scanned and going to the server in the Hinterlands with Rudi. Others can PM me and I'll send compressed email when I get a chance. Be patient, I gotta make hay while the sunshine is still here in the Willamette Valley of Oregon ( that's Chinook Indian for " mold grows thick on the backs of our horses")
