Re: George Willer AuctionI don't think George had a Super C. The listing is for a Case SC; maybe that is what you saw

Re: George Willer AuctionKind of sad, really.
Hope his possesions go to good homes to be cared for as he did, especially the Cubs 1915-1917 McCormick Tedder ,1920's Deering Hay Rake, 1949 Cub,Oliver horse drawn plow 83n,syracuse plow, hussey plow, various planet jr. cultivators
Re: George Willer AuctionSure wish I could be there, I have been in his barn and that is all excellent stuff. That is a busy weekend for us with three other activities going on. I too hope the members who knew George have luck with bringing it home with them.
I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

Re: George Willer AuctionOne of his cubs incorporated some parts I gave him when he was at Cubarama one year. he was wanting a non adjustable front axle and I gave him one from a burned cub I had bought. It was sagging due to the heat, but he straightened it and used it, along with a set of fenders, and I think another part or two, but do not remember for sure.

Re: George Willer AuctionI knew that this would eventually happen. You see these in Red Power all the time and on-line. But not really someone you have known/conversed with for a decade or so .... very sad
I do hope that George's Cubs go to loving homes and I hope as many of our members as possible would be able to get one of his Cubs. Confusion breeds Discussion which breeds Knowledge which breeds Confidence which breeds Friendship

Re: George Willer AuctionDid see it listed on the sale bill, but George had a Prewitt conversion unit (aka, reducer/reverser). Don't know if it will show up at the auction or not...
Whomever attends, you might keep your eye out for it. Stanton

Re: George Willer AuctionIs there any particular significance to the 10:07AM start time?
Re: George Willer AuctionBaker and Bonnigson Auctions always start at 7 minutes past the hour or half hour, been this way for years, do not know why.
