I don't think George had a Super C. The listing is for a Case SC; maybe that is what you saw :?:

Kind of sad, really.
Hope his possesions go to good homes to be cared for as he did, especially the Cubs

Sure wish I could be there, I have been in his barn and that is all excellent stuff. That is a busy weekend for us with three other activities going on. I too hope the members who knew George have luck with bringing it home with them.

One of his cubs incorporated some parts I gave him when he was at Cubarama one year. he was wanting a non adjustable front axle and I gave him one from a burned cub I had bought. It was sagging due to the heat, but he straightened it and used it, along with a set of fenders, and I think another part or two, but do not remember for sure.

Don't think it has a Demo era engine. Not sure about the other castings.

I knew that this would eventually happen. You see these in Red Power all the time and on-line. But not really someone you have known/conversed with for a decade or so .... very sad :(

I do hope that George's Cubs go to loving homes and I hope as many of our members as possible would be able to get one of his Cubs.

Did see it listed on the sale bill, but George had a Prewitt conversion unit (aka, reducer/reverser). Don't know if it will show up at the auction or not...

George Willer wrote:Bill,

You may expect to find the reducer still attached to the tractor. It has to be dismantled to take it off so it wasn't likely to be removed. Here's what the Prewitt adaptor looks like:

Is there any particular significance to the 10:07AM start time?

Baker and Bonnigson Auctions always start at 7 minutes past the hour or half hour, been this way for years, do not know why.
