trailor axle's

My friend in the fire service the other day was looking at his trailor axle on his enclsed trailor a little smaller than Barnyards.
He found that he had a serious problem. So he ask me where he could get some parts I told him tractor supply. I didnt know they use plastic bushing. He was one lucky person. This for everyone that has tamdom axle trailor flat or enclosed to check this hardware out for ware.

If this nneds moved please do.

For those that have excess to a Metal lathe, like myself, I removed each each bolt ( one at a time ) , drilled a 1/8 " hole half way down from the "head side", then in from the side of the shank of the bolt, finally drilling / taping correct threads for a 1/4 " grease zerk , installing same, and now I have greaseable joints that will last a "life time" ! Maybe the best end result, "PIECE OF MIND", that they are not worn out or break apart, missing my tractor event ! Lee, Joliet, IL.

I have seen that before, it is common on older trailers. You can get the parts at places like Red Neck Trailer parts, or at Red Line. as well as many others.
