Re: mercer county fair
We had a good turnout for a show that started four years ago with two tractors, both of which were mine. This year we were up to 15 tractors and numerour pieces of horse drawn equipment and engines. The forum was well represented with tractors from myself, Gary Bailey and Eugene Coppola. As president of the Fair, I was pretty busy attending to other areas and issues and thankful to have Gary and Eugene helping me out with the show.

Thanks for the pictures Dusti, sorry things didn't work out for me to be there this time. I did pass by Sunday coming back from Legoland in Florida. I had hopes of being back earlier but not so...

If I could ever get mine back together there would have been 4. I have managed to get the fan hub off yesterday evening, so I went from having it in 10 pieces to 13! haha. I am just amazed by the people who came by and were like "ya... I have an old (insert name here) back at home..." Well bring it out!!!! I think people think their machines have to be showroom quality, people in general just love looking at "old iron".

And that my friend is how this "hobby" will grow in our area!
Allen Dunnegan, the man with the horse drawn equipment told me on Thursday about his granddaddy plowing gardens around Athens with a F-Cub. Then he said he knew where it was located. By Saturday Allen had already went and looked at it, and it was just like he remembered it. The man priced it to Allen and I let him borrow my crank to go back by there and see if it was stuck. Allen told me Sunday it was stuck but he thought he was gonna get it anyway. Sickle mower, two-way plow, disc, original manuals and tractor.
And all because he saw our Cubs...
