Mid Tn Cubfest Day Two

Postby Former Member » Fri Aug 17, 2012 8:00 pm

Wow, what a busy day :big afro: :{_}: :{_}:

3 carb rebuilds
2 complete electrical tune ups.
wiring and switches and such
governor linkages freed up and adjusted
and much much more.

Lots of good food, lots of folks we never expected, everyone having a great time. We did not have much time for pictures but here is what we have so far.

Thanks for the pics, enjoy them all, looks good a and green there, and at least there was a little time for chatting and visiting with each other. Enjoy.

i want to say thank you to Dale , Jan and Walt for the invitation. this is my wife Jean and myselfs first real dealing in such goings on :D we have been to several tractor shows in the past but nuthin like this. anything that needs to be done someone flies in there and does it. for me the highlight of the day was when young Josh lit up like a Christmas tree when his cub came back to life after it had not run in a while . THAT my friends is what its all about. hopfully we will get invited back next year and will be a little more prepared. ok I'm gona shut up now its getting light out side and we have some cubs to work on! :{_}:

Glad someone got up early Terry. I was in bed before 11:30 and just got up at 7:45. Coffee ready in 5 min so I will be out the door before 8.

I have not slept so long and hard in years. I think I was a bit tired from all the fun. :{_}: :{_}: :big afro:

Thank you to Dale and Jan Shaw for a nice fun filled weekend, I met several new people and enjoyed the fellowship and also working on the Cubs. One almost had us stumped, but we prevailed and it runs again.

Let me try to post again,my computer is acting kinda crazy.I tried to post yesterday ,but it would not summit...I really enjoyed the Mid Tn Cubfest. This was my 2nd Cubfest ever and both were well worth the trip...Dale and Jan know how to make you feel welcome. The women should get alot of credit for making the Fest a success. They had great food and a good setup...I learned several things while there, especially troubleshooting techniques...LOL, That one Cub had us all scratching our heads, that's the best way to learn in my book! Thanks Dale for selling me the Buzz Saw.I hope to have it at a tractor show soon...I love the town of Crossville, everything is close together...Hope everyone made it home safely! JRICK

:big afro: You are more than welcome, and look forward to next year being even better.

Yep, Crossville and the Cumberland Plateau is about the ideal place. We are centrally located in TN, and being on the Plateau, we stay 5 to 10 degrees cooler than Knoxville or Cookeville, and generally have a nice breeze all the time.

Now to start planning for next year. LOL
