We'd love to take some of that rain off your hands up here in Missouri...you're in our thoughts and prayers.

We are alive and well here in Raceland. We got slammed pretty bad starting about 3am this morning. We are in the eye of the storm right now, waiting for the next half. No major damage in my neighborhood.

Eric , glad you guys are ok. We are wet and 50 mph winds,. so not bad. The second half as some may not know (edit: when the eye passes over you ) , the wind switches direction and things get interesting when the trees bend the opposite direction. :D

We're getting some pretty good gust as I type. No rain yet, but it's within an hour or so away. Should be down to a tropical depression by this time tomorrow.

No damage to speak of at the home place. We got out today and went to town and came across this sad sight. It had been for sale with no bargaining allowed. Thought you might like to see this. :D Maybe "The Bay Stater" would be interested in this one.
