Knowing Bill, it was taken at midnight on a moonless night with no lights. The "removed" statement is just a red herring

Cool video Barnyard Thanks for posting it.
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Like Thomas, first time I have seen one in operation, I was raised in the hay fields not the wheat fields. Very nice video and a great show of some neat machinery. Thanks to all.

I did! There was about 20 minutes of video, but I edited out all the duplications and shots of my belly.

Thanks for the video. Brought back memories. My family's combine was a "Bagger". I love to watch them slide down the chute.
I remember they tied the bags so they had two "ears" for easy lifting.I was just a kid, and don't remember how it was done.
Best,
Mike

It was really neat to see this come back to life, after setting dorment for years. During the last part of the run, I worked on the bagger with Neal. It was fun, but we both decided we wouldn't want to do it all day. After we got the hang of things, we were switching out bags on the run and it really does keep you busy. I've never been around a combine with a bagger before so that was very interesting.

Very enjoyable video. I can remember, barely, when we had one. Bill, I'm going a bit off your subject here but there is a video that pops up at the end of yours showing a horse drawn combine. It also has a seperator under steam power and a combine drawn by a cat. Probably in the Palouse region of Washington. The combine has a bagger that the chute holds four bags which are released at one time. The bags are being sewn rather than tied. Interesting to me. I recommend people watch both. Vern

That was really neat. First time I'd seen one in that good of shape, much less in action. 8)

You're supposed to let those bags slide off in the field....

Loved the video! Got to get my Cub powered 52R dusted off and harvest something with it.....last did 4 acres of wheat in 2008. Had. a. blast. Of course it was about 100 degrees, harvesting beans would definately be more comfortable weather but I haven't gotten the desire to swap those cylinder pulleys around yet.

My 52R bagger has a Continental engine on it. It is LOTS of "fun" rasslin' those bags of wheat when it's 90+ degrees outside! I guess I should find it a new home as I haven't had chance to do anything with it in a long time. :(

Thanks for the video, Bill. Brings back memories of our Case 'bagger' we had while I was a youngster.
