SEAL LOCK Products

Postby johnbron » Wed Aug 17, 2005 6:31 pm

Has anybody on board ever used these products :?: They have what seems to be many neat fix-it solvers that we all could use in our Cub hobby. I have never heard of this product before and dont know where it retails.

That sounds too good to be true. I have a crack in my block on the Cub,which opens up when the engine is hot.But it might be worth checking out. 8) :) Bruce

I posted your question on the Unofficial Allis board. There are a number of very active board members from Australia and New Zealand. Should have a response back in a day or two.

Looks like a neat product - if it works.

Eugene, Let us know if you get any good reports on it and where it can be bought. I did not see any info on there web-site of where/how to purchase it.

About two hours later. Received a response on the Allis BB. The reponse is from a very knowledgable Australian mechanic/farmer/antique tractor owner/repairer.

"never seen it either, the only seal-lock i have seen is used in the concrete industry ?"

Went to the sites home page. A cracked block, stitch repair kit, costs $390-.

Perhaps, more information follows.

Another response from a tractor mechanic in Oklahoma.

"I been using it quiet some time for installing cylinder sleeves and valve seat inserts. The reason I use it is for good heat transfer. Never have tried it on cracks. It seems to be good stuff."

Will try to find the distributor.
