Stonethrow Update !!!!

Postby Kodiak » Fri Sep 28, 2012 9:01 pm

For all those that will be able to make the Thursday evening adventure to the Maysville Saloon here is a update on the happenings down there......
I just got back from a dinner at the saloon and got to talk to the owner. The staff there is looking foward to our visit and as added incentive to come and have a great time they are going to be judging us on our Cowgirl and Cowboy outfits ! So get out the boots, hats, spurs and anything else that will make you the best dressed Cowboy or Cowgirl and you might just win a free meal Thursday evening. They did ask if anyone would have a issue with them using our photos on their web site. I told them I didn't think that would be a problem. I don't think we have any WANTED outlaws, except maybe a Wild Bill or two

Friday evening meal..... Please plan on staying at the shop for some BBQ Chicken and all the fixings Friday evening. We will start about 5ish to get things ready and eat at around 6pm. This is usually a good time to put your feet up and sit around catching up with old friends and even some new ones. If you want to bring a dish that is fine we'll just add it to the spread.
If anyone has a preference as to diet drinks Please let me know. We'll have some un-sweet tea and I'll do my best to accomidate diet drink request and of course we'll have water avalible.

If you could please let me know if your planning on making the Thursday meal so I can give them a number next Wed I would really appreciate it.

Look foward to seeing everyone next weekend.

Ron & Paula
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Rosanne and I will be there with bells on, not so sure about the boots and spurs.

Ron, we'll be there Thursday afternoon; not sure when - depends on loading, etc.. At this point we are planning to eat in the camper rather than the Saloon.

I don't think the saloon delivers to campers!

It won't matter Bill. My friend loaning us the camper "can't find the keys" so we will be hanging at the Holiday Inn in a room equipped with a microwave and a frig.
