Yes that is the one you drove at SCRAP with the tranny noise. After investigation the slide rail bolt worked loose and was grinding on the gear. put a new bolt in tightened the others and bent the keeper steel over. quite tranny now Thanks maybe we will see you at SCRAP. With the quality of your work, it should not be a surprise at all. Well done. Bill "The probability of life originating from accident is comparable to the probability of the unabridged dictionary resulting from an explosion in a printing shop." Edwin Conklin, biologist

Re: Pleasant SupriseGreat job Phil. Guys I have had the pleasure of seeing this tractor up close and it is truly a masterpiece. Phil and his boys did an excellent job redoing it.

Re: Pleasant SupriseCongratulations, Phil and very nice job.
I remember not taking a tractor to Cubarama one year and received a trophy. Should have been John Puckett's
Re: Pleasant SupriseMy dad had a B-N . I remember him Plowing , cultivating, and dragging the field with it. I remember as a kid ,when he cranked it over
and it woke me up, I knew it was going to be a day of work. Mostly in the spring we would have to go and pick rocks out of the just plowed field. The frost Pushes the rocks up each year. (Michigan) After plowing he would hook up the trailer to it and we would throw rocks ( BIG ROCKS) on the trailer. Then we would take them out and throw them on the rock pile. What a job that was . By the way, that is the most beautiful BN I have seen . Last edited by Mr Ziffel on Sat Oct 27, 2012 12:22 am, edited 1 time in total.
Re: Pleasant SupriseA well deserved congratulations on a nice tractor. The exhause lifts did kind of sort of worked. I used one on an A. The fact that they wern't the best is possibly why not too many survived. It's nice to see everything on the tractor. Again, good work. Vern
