Taking off FastHitch and mounting 42C Woods Mower

Postby Fup » Thu Oct 11, 2012 2:03 pm

I have a '74 Cub Highboy with a Fasthitch and am currently trying to mount a 42C Woods mower. I unbolted the entire Fasthitch (I do not have any need for it) and got it out of my way. I was wondering if I still needed to keep the Spring Mount assist that goes from the lift to the rear by the fender or is it better to run the lift without the assist with the mower mounted. Any help would be appreciated.

The helper spring is part of the Fast-Hitch attachment. You don't need it for the mower.
