Do you think trying to bend this dented hub cap back out will crack or damage the chrome? Let me know your opinion...thanks.

Probably not if done gently, but not by "Bang" ing" as you ask in your other post. It can probably be pushed back out by your thumbs if you start at the edge of the dent and work your way to the center. A rubber mallet and light taps would be a better tool to use than any other kind of hammer. Basically, or to put it bluntly, if you know what you are doing, you can get the dent out without damaging the chrome.

Those caps are pretty sturdy. I would come up with a board, maybe a 2x6 and take a hole saw just a hare bigger than the indented area, drill out the hole, then put the hub cap over it upside down. Then use a rubber mallet to pop it back out. I doubt you can use your bare hands.

dont care what you hit it with , its going to ding and look worse then it does now. if your not restoring your tractor , I say let it show its age. the only way to pull it is to take it to a chrome shop and have it done right.
