Berlin I seem to know more and more about less and less, soon I'll know everything about nothing !
Re: New Cub ShopIt is 3/4 of the way full now. I'm starting to finish the inside. I pick up the insulation today. A friend gave me a working pellet furnace so I can heat the shop. I have not made a decision on what to cover the wall with. I know I do not want drywall. I don't think it would hold up well.
Here is what is on the door. It's a shop warming gift from my 19 year old daughter. "Always start out the way you want to end up"

Lookin' good! OSB works well and you don't have to worry about finished seams like with drywall. It is also more durable. Looks good if left natural but if painted white it reflects LOTS of light. '61 Lo-Boy

Not only that, you can hang a lot of weight on the walls with sheetrock screws. You can put shelves anywhere, without the need for a stud in the right place. Above your workbench, a sheet of pegboard if you like. Dale Shaw

Re: New Cub ShopGreat looking shop......I built something similar a while back.....already full and i only have one cub. One thing about having a lot a space ....you always find new things to occupy that new space.
I really enjoy the day when it is raining cats and dogs and I am working in my shop.....the rain on the roof and I am nice and dry and have room to do whatever I need to do and stay dry. Enjoy!! CPIII Charles Patek III

Re: New Cub ShopGWrider1957 - Funny you said that. Built a 30x40 last year thought I had room to spare, this years I added a 10x40 on the back of it!

Re: New Cub ShopHow about "Pig Board" all around that way you will have lots of room to hang stuff.
