Its only a little over a month away for the Winter fest. Hope mother nature is good to us. If anyone wants to do little projects like carb rebuilds, generators work over, hydraulic rebuild, welding or anything else you folks want to do. Get your parts ordered. If you dont have a project come any way to have fun. Shop tools. wire welder, plasma cutter, parts cleaner, sand blasting cabinet. hydraulic press, lots of hand tools & lot of fun. I even bought a new over head heater to keep us warm. It may run us out of the shop. Wives & girl friends are welcome but not both at the same time . Thanks The Silvey's

Jeff, is that new heater up & running now? It should do a great job. I'll bring along a few of my tools, should they be needed. I'll be there, weather permitting, to assist as needed.

I am thinking about converting a distributor to electronic ignition. What all will I need to bring and can someone there walk me through this? Also, where is a good place to get the parts?

Bill, you just need the distributor and the kit, I'll be happy to assist you. I've bought a few kits from Car Shop Inc., but you might shop around a bit. Is this going on a 12V. tractor? You'll need to know voltage & polarity. The kit # is 1442 = 12v neg. gnd., add 6P to the end for 6v pos gnd.

I'm not sure which Cub will be the lucky recipient just yet. As soon as I decide I will order the parts. Thanks!

Bill, my last search and purchase showed Car Shop Inc. had the best prices. If you shop around and find a better deal please let us know.

Well with the Winter Cub Fest approaching I decided to put in some better heater. Larry & myself hung a Mr Heater 50,000 BTU. It was cheaper to buy a 50 over a 45 BTU. This unit is small with a punch. Left it on 70 dregees all night. This morning it was still 70, outside was 30. If anyone wants to attend heres my address: 7691 N Center St. McCordsville, IN 46055

I would like to come and pick up a cub while there. However, Total left hip replacement on the 28th of november will just give me a week and a half to heal. Don't think I will be up to a 6 hr drive that soon. Dale

Jeff, I think we need to start a serious letter writing campaign to fix an error in the spell checker used by ieSpell Check. When it hit the word "McCordsville" it wants to change it to "Squaresville" Now, I know it is a small town in Indiana. But really, I have heard some of the stories about you and . . . . . Doug
