Dad's LoBoy Project
Dad's year long LoBoy project is nearly done. Actually 11 months to be exact. He found this tractor down south, and it is believed to have been a trencher cub, based on the left over parts we had. It ran, but not too well. He put new standard rings, rod bearings, cleaned valve train, new head gasket and new coil. Runs like a brand new one. It needed correct rims on the front, a hood, floor pan, fender mounts, and paint. Total project came in a just under a 1000....which was his goal. But that does include a donated touch control block from Boss Hog. (By the way....worked perfectly).
Some before and after pics.
The gracious host loading the cub for us.....(he donated some spare parts too).
After....notice the vertical exhast.
The hood I would have never imagined it to turn out the way it did. I would have tossed it in favor of another.....but I don't have the patience he does. This tractor runs like new! Great rescue. He will be putting a Woods 42 on it as soon as he get it put back together and painted.

Mr. Jesse does some mighty fine work!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
