Got some more to do, but ..

Postby randallc » Mon Nov 05, 2012 10:08 am

This was my first attempt to refurbish a cub, still got some more to do, like getting an emblem for the 1961 on the left side.
The cub I bought in June which was about to head to the scrape yard.

Seems I lucked out on the motor, so far at least. Still have to replace pto seal, and my attempt on welding the cut out hood leaves a lot to be desired, but anyway, up and running.

Looks good Randall, thanks for sharing.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Well done. I hate to see one end up in a scrapers hands.

Very nice. Makes you wonder how many old tractors are not saved each year...ugh! Perish the thought!

Looks great! Most people have no idea how really difficult it is to take the old Cub to the finish you have done. Thanks for saving another one, too. Steve K.
