me and Sandy go north

Postby brichter » Thu Nov 08, 2012 5:38 pm

Last week since everything was quiet on the home front, I talked Mary Lou into going storm chasing. We left Kinard (sunny and bright), went to London KY and dropped off a trailer. The next morning we set out to beat Sandy to Maryland but she cheated. She threw a terrific blizzard in the mountains of Kentucky and slowed us up allowing her to beat us to Maryland. Thankfully, our grands and great grands were spared the brunt of the storm. Nature probably saw us coming and decided the kids had enough punishment for one week. While on the trip, I did get to meet three great Cubbers which I had never met. Picked up a scrap tractor named Durban at Brandon Webb's and got to meet him and his dad. In Maryland, I met Bob Triplett and we solved many world problems in just a few hours. Didn't get to see the new guy, Jmuddbg75 ( I think) because he is a member of the working class and our schedules didn't fit but next time I'll catch him.
Bob and I don't do pictures so you will have to take my word for the fact that it was one of the most epic, classic, and handsome meetings of the social season.
Can't wait to get back up there and see more stuff. Beautiful country.

BR, your credibility is in question, but if Bob will vouch for it we'll probably believe it.  Sounds like a great trip. Are you and Roy headed north in a week or so?
