I made a video to help show and describe my problem a little easier. What could my problem be?! I am usually pretty good at figuring out the electircal issues, but not this time.

Re: Electrical/Lighting Question on FORD 641Test light checking for voltage starting at the light switch.
Grounds. But you would think at least one of the gauge lights would work, be grounded to dash. Light bulbs, present or burnt out. New gauges, last new gauge I purchased came without a light bulb. I have an excuse. CRS.
Re: Electrical/Lighting Question on FORD 641Thanks Eugene. There are bulbs and I tried manually grounding the gauge. Still nothing. I really need my test light but its in the shop with my truck getting a new heater core. I guess I could use a multimeter.
Re: Electrical/Lighting Question on FORD 641Fixed it. Apparently the fuse in the switch was bad although it visually looked good
Re: Electrical/Lighting Question on FORD 641
I've seen a few glass fuses that looked OK but the filament was broken right at the end. The end cap hid the break. Sometimes it is evident if you tap the side of the fuse with one finger. The loose end will vibrate while the other stays steady.
Re: Electrical/Lighting Question on FORD 641Thanks for the tip Jim. I will have to remember to check them that way. I have only seen those glass type fuses break in the middle, so this is a first for me.
