Re: How to Reupholster a SeatSorry to hear you ran into some problems getting the lip open. I don't know if the sheet metal used on the later Cubs (a '75, like yours) and the earlier Cubs (a '47, like mine) were different gauges or not.
All I used was what you were using; or similar. Bascially, anything that I could use as a tool to pry the lip open. Don't know if I'd use heat or not. Wish you success. Stanton
