Had a friend here killed about 20 years ago doing the same thing with an 8N, hooked to high rolled backwards and killed him, the things was he was going to get married later in the week and his wife to be had purchased a Kubota with a cab that had not been deliver yet.
I think people with those 8N style tractors just do not take the time to put the drawbar back on.
