Good start David, as fast as you put them together you better turn it a little or you'll never get it out of the garage sitting sideways.

Hey,
Red with white hood would look good, well maybe not since there is a question about them. :)

I am glad to see the calf-scours yellow disappearing! Looking forward to seeing it done!

IH's are RED. Just say NO to yellow and white!

Oh, I was just kidding about the factory red cub with white hood. I happen to believe there were red cubs with white hoods from the factory. But that is JMHO.

Cause some of the correct Police don't think IH ever put one out that way. :big afro:

And I guess you were standing at the end of the assembly line back in 1964 and saw them roll out the red with a white hood? Maybe you have a picture of a row of red cubs with white hoods on the dealer lot from 1964? Maybe you can point to a paint decision from 1964 that called for a white hood on a red tractor. Maybe you can point to another tractor in the IH line from 1964 that had the same or even similar paint scheme. I can, they were all red unless special ordered in another color.

It has nothing to do with a "Correct Police" as you put it. I could care less what color anyone paints their own property. Red, green, white, blue, zebra striped or any combination in between. But with the topic at hand, there is absolutely zero evidence to indicate that in 1964, IH painted Cubs red with white hoods.

'Cept for the ones that pop up from time to time in original paint that have white hoods....

I'm no Ken Updike or Guy Fay, but I've seen enough to know that IH didn't document everything they did!
