Here's old 'Country' drivin' the 'Carol Elizabeth Cub' in this year's parade in Loudon. Notice how my disc is now shinny from use at our Mayfield Cubfest Plow Days show back in October ...Country

Looks good Country! Yep that disc turned alot of dirt at Mayfields. I enjoyed putting a little shine on it myself. Looks like you're having a good time

Here's a shot of the rear (no not my rear)...The parade kicked off when it was dark. My little 6 volt front and rear lights did a great job of helping to light my way (along with the street lights). If you recognize the Merry Christmas flag...it's a $3.00 Wal-Mart gift bag that I improvised with some red duct tape and a wooden dowel. You can't seem to find much of anything that says "Merry Christmas" these day ...'Country'

Looking great 'Country'! It looks like you had a good turnout and a lot of fun showing off that shiny plow

Your Cub looks very Christmasy, Country! Sure you had fun. Never thought of putting a license plate on a Cub. Great idea!

I thought that looked like it, but with my crappy eyesight these days it'd have to be right in front of me to see it. That was a Memphis,TN. find and I knew when I saw it, it had a home with you -- I'm glad it's a good conversation starter.

Happiness is a shining disc! Looking good Country. I wish I could get my old disc's to shine like that, too many years outside.

Hey guys...THANKS SO MUCH for all the nice comments I guess that Mayfield Farm's Tennessee soil was the reason for the shine. But I'd be remiss if I didn't tell y'all that I sprayed some KROIL on it to keep it shiny and rust-free until the next plow day It was such a kick for old 'Country' to drive in that parade and see all the young kids turn out to watch. Several of them shouted out "There's Santa" so I told them that my beard would grow back by Christmas Eve, and that "When there's no snow...Santa has to drive a tractor" I really envy you folks who have youngsters...the excitement and joy that they radiate from seeing the simple joys of Christmas really touches my heart ...'Country'

Hello Country, I don’t get on Farmall.com as much as I like to, but it’s good to see your early morning post again! I know you probably don’t remember me but George Willer introduced me to you back in Missouri at the first Cub-Arama. I sure miss those posts from years back after the all night possum huntin’ adventures and especially those Sunday dinner possum fixin’s recipes.
I’m a little further west now and the music is just a bit more western than country, but I still hear that fiddle player in the back ground.
I’m really good at doing nothing…With that said…I’m really, really good at doing nothing
