Distributor bushing

Postby SeanW » Thu Dec 20, 2012 5:18 pm

Good Day all,
I decided to start a new post, I searched distributor & distributer and can't seem to find any size for the bushing required to rebuild the distributor. I did find a part #373 577 R91. Does anyone have the specs so that I can go to a local supplier to get one.
Most parts, I have to ship from the US and shipping and duty is hard on the wallet, plus its a 14 day wait from the time the item is shipped. I would like to have the bushing in hand before I tear this one down.
Thanks once again,
Sean

that bushing is about 4" long, when i needed one I could find nothing off the shelf, ended up making a new one on the lathe from oil light, i believe its still available from IH for $40-50

Don't suppose you have the specs? There are a few off shore oil industry suppliers in my area that are very resourceful and helpful...
