A number of our members like Freeze Off a lot. I have a can of a similar product from another brand. I don't know if it works or not - the nozzle doesn't work properly.

If you want to freeze some thing you can also use liquid propane. I used it at work to shrink pins and other stuff for installation. Never tried it to loosen some thing though. I did have a spray can of something similar to the Loctite stuff mentioned, but didn't have much luck with it.

I use Kroil (and have for many years as most of you by now know). I have been restoring hand corn shellers and hand feed grinders lately (mostly Black Hawk and Red Chief). By the time I locate and purchase these...ALL the nuts and bolts are rusted fast together. It may take a few minutes, or even a few days...but the nuts and bolts ALWAYS FREE UP. These are square headed nuts and old antique cast iron wing nuts. If you damage one...it can't be replaced. There maybe other products out there that might do as good a job...and even cost less! But for my money...it's Kroil by the gallon, or AeroKroil on deal. It WORKS...PERIOD ...'Country'

gusbratz; We fueled our buses with liquid so all I did was pump some into a coffee can. As with anything flammable you need to be careful. I always worked with it outside and away from any thing that may ignite it.
We were told when the system was installed that for propane to ignite it had to be an exact mix of propane and oxygen. The reason we asked about it in the first place was because we filled the tanks until gas came out the relief valve or maybe it was a liquid vent we opened. Plus after shutting the pump off the hose had to be bled off before removal. So there always was fumes and or liquid while fueling.

On a tractor that sat outside neglected x 16 yrs, we had a hydraulic control linkage that had been Kroiled to death, and remained stiff. Today we hit it with this, it's unbelievable how free everything became.
