Rosie and I were too sick to go to the family gathering today, but Melissa and Nick stopped by to celebrate a bit this morning. Santa left me with something I have been wanting for a while but just never got around to picking up. My old drill is about to give out so this is very timely. A couple of years ago Mel had won an 18 volt Milwaukee I/2" drive impact and gave it to me. This set gives me most everything I need for my projects. I think that little 1/4-in impact driver will come in handy around here. Mel also has to buy almost anything with IH on it (I need to slow that girl down). I got a few tins I will probably set on a shelf and look at. I'd hate to toss stuff in them and mess them up. How about the rest of you? Was Santa good to you too?
I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me. Barnyard Bash CubFest May 31 - June 1, 2013 Click here for info.

After discussing the item with some friends, Momma E and I got one of these for ourselves. For those times when making a full pot is not reasonable. So far, we have really enjoyed the convenience. Sorry for the size of the picture.

About 6:00 this morning the blizzard condition storm they've been promising started. Blowing like crazy with 5-6 inches so far. Forecast was for 6-12 inches. We'll see what develops.
