Some of you have been here before, but for those not familiar, I'll explain.

My shop has a big woodstove (on which our lunch* will be made) so anybody in the shop will be warm. That area is 600 sq ft.

Attached pole barn is 30x60, there's about 10-14 tractors and trucks in there but all the ones that run will be outside, opening up a pretty good-sized area.

I for one love cold and love winter, for example I worked out there all yesterday and today and never bothered to start a fire.

No matter what, you'll be out of the wind/rain/snow. Anybody working in the pole barn area might be advised to dress for the temperature. But I can easily accommodate a couple dozen people. And a few tractors. As the time gets closer, we'll keep you advised. In the event of a major storm or blizzard, we'll probably just go with the next Saturday.

Still a month away but as we get within the "5-day-forecast" we'll try to get a rough head-count. Because I know some of you won't commit until we get an idea what the road conditions will be.

Thanks!

Boy!!! Breakfast and dinner (that's what we called it when I was young) cooked on a wood stove, coffee on the stove all day. Making it sound more like I ought to be there. Top it all off with good friends, great fellowship, and workin' on Cubs -- sounds better all the time.

Bill, Can put you up in my locally famous restored old farm house if you decide to make the trip.

As for working out in the cold...hopefully we will get some warm weather...I love cold weather but with 20 fractures healing in my hand, wrist and arm the DSCF sounds more appealling. I can bring some kerosene space heaters if need be to blast some heat into the large area.

Yup good idea Chris and I've got 1 or 2 of those things that go on top of a propane tank, very good radiant heat. As is a 500 W halogen light, and there's a few of them kicking around.

I've got to quit looking at this thread! :( :( After a long serious talk with myself, I'm going to pass on this one. :( :( Sounds really good, however, I can't justify the trip. Have a great time folks.

A couple of friends from Rhode Island with several farms are interested in coming up and bringing a Cub. They are not on this forum, that aside....they are very active farming with a Cub.

Ed keep a spot for me near the stove, and I will give you the first shot at the donut box. I vow to hang out by the stove, not get dirty and have a lot of wisdom to share.
