28-A to fasthitch

Postby ShineRunner » Tue Jan 01, 2013 7:42 am

I have a really nice 28-A disc. I was looking at it the other day and was wondering if it would be possible to put a fasthitch barb on it in a way as to not mess it up? Has anyone tried this? It looks possible but if anyone has already tried this might save me some time and money!

Thanks

Personally I would look for a F38 harrow and leave the 28A as is

CBI 1A has your harrow and CBI 2A has the fast hitch version. Find them both in the (new) Manuals link above. Just look for the bookmark symbol on the left and all the sections will be easy to navigate. If you compare the 2, the frames are the same part numbers. The 651806r91 beam looks to be a bear to fabricate. If you can find a fast hitch version cheap with worn discs and bearings you can swap the parts.
