No overflow tube on radiatorGetting some odds and ends done on my cub and one thing I'd like to address is the overflow on the radiator. The tube is broken off the neck. Did I see on this forum a fix for this. Something like a hollow bolt or something in that order. Could find it on the search but was sure I had seen in here.
Re: No overflow tube on radiatorDan, I remember something like that too. As soon as I find it I will lock it down in the how to forum.
I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

Re: No overflow tube on radiatorYes there is one on here somewhere, Bear did it. 1/4 in brass screw with a hole drilled in it works well. I thought it was saved but guess not

Re: No overflow tube on radiator
I wish I had seen who did it before I started looking. It took a couple different search strings to find without an author but I figured it would have to pop up sooner or later. I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

Re: No overflow tube on radiatorI searched a while and gave up, glad it was saved.

Re: No overflow tube on radiatorI bent me a piece of 1/4" copper tubing to where I wanted it, flared the end inside the neck, then JB Welded the junction at the radiator. Took about 10 minutes and overnight to set up....
